A corner of the Supilinn district of Tartu close to the Emajõgi River and marked out by its natural abundance and the diversity of its architecture saw the completion in late 2020 of the Kodukalda Quarter – a new development comprising four apartment buildings. Two are pitched-roof buildings standing three storeys high, while the other two buildings are in funk style and stand two storeys high. There are 30 apartments in total, ranging in size from 1-2 rooms (ideal for university students) to 3-4 room family homes perfect for making memories in.

In addition to the health trails and recreational spaces for public use in the surrounding area, the Kodukalda Quarter offers its residents a barbecue area and two playgrounds.
